Beaumont Decorators was founded by Malcolm Beaumont in 1966. Malcolm specialised in high class domestic work and was largely regarded as an excellent decorator. His son Jason Beaumont joined the business in 1988 as an apprentice when he was just 16 years old. He studied at Huddersfield Technical College where he completed his City and Guilds advanced apprenticeship and his NVQ level 3. He was also awarded the apprentice of the year for each of the 3 years that he studied at the college.

Jason has worked in the decorating profession ever since, completing work in all aspects of decorating services, including, but not limited to; Interior and Exterior Painting, Wallpapering and Specialist Wall Hangings, Decorative Effects, Spray Painting and fixing Coving. He has been involved in a number of successful and high profile domestic, commercial and new build jobs over the years.

He is also a qualified Teacher, Assessor and Internal Verifier of painting and decorating. He taught at both Huddersfield Technical College and Leeds College of Building prior to becoming the Head of Construction at Oldham College. He has trained many apprentices, many of whom still come back for advice!.

Jason set the business back up in April 2016 and would be delighted to give you a free quotation for any decorating work you may need doing and he is able to offer design advice and consultation if required.
